cross-country enthusiasts can ski a total of 26 km of cross-country trails
here either in the direction of Saas-Balen or Saas-Almagell. The sunny
Kreuzboden-Hohsaas ski area with guaranteed snow and easy wide pistes for
beginners and children, as well as challenging glacier pistes of Saas Fee for good
skiers affords a unique view of the 18 four-thousand-metre peaks of the

Getting to
Saas Grund is easy by rail & bus as well as by car. There is a direct rail
service from Geneva airport to Visp, the nearest mainline railway station.

Buses from Visp to Saas Grund run every 50 minutes from the bus station
opposite the railway station. The journey from Visp railway station to
